Chronic Long Covid provides signposting for all visitors and members. You are never alone and this syndrome can leads to all sorts of issues for both patient, immediate and extended family. Helplines you can call are provided here and links to each charity site provided below.

The Samaritans

  • Financial help with rent, bills etc -Support to help you live independently after hospital/at home
  • Missing Family
  • Mobility aids, wheelchair hire and local places where you can borrow or rent equipment like commodes if you’re experiencing long tail incontinence.
  • They will advise you on local representatives who can help you get support with regards to children.
  • They can also advice for dealing with loneliness, home schooling and activities for young children

This is the UK-wide service we have created that has expertise and focus on both money and mental health problems.

Clic UK

This is Mental Health UK’s online community, there for everyone’s mental health. It is free for anyone over the age of 18 to sign up and become a member. There is a live chat where people can talk to peers openly and safely, and there is an info hub too. Their moderators are online 24/7 in case anyone is in need of emergency support. Support in Mind Scotland National Information Service – our partner charity in Scotland’s info line.
